A GUIDE TO VISITING BRICK LANE

Every true Londoner knows and has visited Brick Lane multiple times. This vibrant street is one of the most famous of the city, and is the perfect medicine for Sunday blues. Because, if it’s Sunday, Brick Lane didn’t get the memo.

There is so much to do, see, eat and drink. But the main visual attraction is street art. Just keep your eyes very open, it’s everywhere and all around!

BORDEAUX: A weekend of wine tasting

bordeaux wine

wine tasting

Pablo and I decided to go wine tasting during a long weekend to France. Bordeaux is the world’s major wine industry capital. And it’s absolutely crazy! It has has about 116,160 hectares of vineyards, 57 appellations (try to learn what this is before going) and not less than 10,000 wine-producing châteaux. That is crazy. Isn’t it?

Bordeaux produces 960 million bottles per year approximately. A lot of is regular, table or everyday wine, but also some of the most expensive wines in the world are produced here in Bordeaux.

When planning the trip, we faced the difficult task of choosing amongst thousands of chateaux. Oh mon dieu! But after some research, we ended up deciding on three. They were all good in their own way.

Munich in summer is one my favourite European experiences, so if you can chose to go in June or July, you are guaranteed to have a nice time. Now – let’s see what Munich has to offer. Here’s your bucket list!

My boyfriend isn’t vegan, and in fact loves any kind of meat, so when eating out we normally resort in omnivorous restaurants, and most of the time in Indian (which I love) and Chinese. None of my girlfriends are vegan either, so I normally end up eating chips or salad, which I don’t mind at all. The vegan restaurants I’ve been in London have been nice but still not mind blowing.

On the day of the booking, we grabbed a refreshing pomegranate gin & tonic in Muriel’s Kitchen and then headed to the venue: Gauthier Soho.
