This Month’s Highlight

Peaky Blinders: Underworld

The one everyone’s talking about right now. Set in the historic railway arches by London Bridge, Peaky Blinders: Underworld drops you straight into Thomas Shelby’s world, starting in a full recreation of the Garrison Tavern, where you can grab a drink before finding the hidden door down into the underworld beneath. From there you’re free to explore Garrison Lane, The Bookies, Chinatown, and the Small Heath Fairground, bumping into actors, solving puzzles, and stumbling into surprises along the way. Around an hour, fully immersive, and exactly the kind of world-building the show’s fans have been waiting for. Running 13 August 2026 – 3 January 2027, from around £25.

The Cauldron London

Harry Potter. Creating potions using a wand. Who could not love that? Well I surely do and this is actually a thing in The Cauldron, an immersive cocktail experience based in Dalston.

Upon arrival to the venue, you’ll be handed a box with a wand of special characteristics to use throughout the experience. You’ll proceed downstairs to your post and don a robe like you’ve just joined Hogwarts. The set up of the scene could easily pass for the Potions class held by Professor Snape in said establishment.

Immersive Gatsby is a theatrical immersive experience based on Scott’s Fitzgerald novel ‘The Great Gatsby’. If you haven’t seen the movie or read the book, I encourage you to do so before visiting. It will be more fun to be able to relate the characters to what you know. If I have to be honest, I did not know what to expect of this evening but as an immersive experience lover I knew I had to live it.

THE GRID LONDON

THE GRID LONDON
The Grid London

The Grid is another creation from the Lollipop team described as “an immersive Black Mirror/Dystopia inspired escape experience”. Having enjoyed ABQ and The Bletchley I knew I was up for a very fun evening.

We arrived at its location close to Southwark and were given our attire for the evening: futuristic silver jackets.

Our role was to play a member of The Grid; a secret society of individuals working to safeguard humanity’s future against machines. Our job was to infiltrate the NeoSight, the company responsible for the AI.
