FEMME LUXE ELEGANT HAUL

Hello all – this is my third collaboration with Femme Luxe, this time I’ve opted for choosing rather elegant items that also stand out. As I usually say in my hauls, Femme Luxe tends to look a bit (much) slinky but there are a few things that are actually pretty classy if you know how to look for them. I think this is my favourite Femme Luxe haul so far as everything I got is absolutely stunning. Take some searching but there’s definitely good stuff there.

Make sure you follow my 21buttons account as I post all of my outfits there, these included!

The first item and the star item of this haul is the White Mesh Polka Dot Extreme Ballon Sleeve Top. Needless to say this top caught everyone’s attention and I got endless compliments from it as I walked in it across London. Please note it’s totally see-through so you can wear with a nice bra directly or use a white or nude shirt below. It’s a definite statement item so best to style with something simple below, like black skinny trousers and black boots. It’s a great item to spice up a winter look. Quality seemed pretty good to me as well. This blouse was born to stand out.

Next up is also a top, similar to the polka dot blouse but a completely white one and with smaller sleeves. The White Polka Dot Mesh High Neck Top – Claudia is also a stunner and looks pretty classic when styled correctly. I didn’t like how the model is wearing it with a square string top as it makes it look tacky, I wore it with a white long sleeve t-shirt, nude trousers and a hat for a more sophisticated look, and loved the result. I could easily also wear this one for work while the White Mesh Polka Dot Extreme Ballon Sleeve Top one is a little bit too extra and could possibly affect my productivity if too many people are asking where I got it, lol.

THE GREAT GATSBY IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE LONDON

THE GREAT GATSBY IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE LONDON
THE GREAT GATSBY IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE LONDON

Hi there, old sport, are you up for a night of lovely food, dressing up, dancing and theatre? Then you’ll love Immersive Gatsby!

Immersive Gatsby is a theatrical immersive experience based on Scott’s Fitzgerald novel ‘The Great Gatsby’. If you haven’t seen the movie or read the book, I encourage you to do so before visiting. It will be more fun to be able to relate the characters to what you know. If I have to be honest, I did not know what to expect of this evening but as an immersive experience lover I knew I had to live it.

Venice Bucket List

Oh Venice. It is a city like no other. A car free city where you can walk everywhere along canals, where the only transport is a boat or a gondola. Venice is unique, different from the rest of Italy, so romantic and charming that you’ll fall in love with it, guaranteed. Below a selection of things you must do when in Venice, as well as how to get there and where to stay, in this Venice Bucket List.

Venice Bucket List: Things To Do

Wander the narrow winding streets

If you do one thing in Venice, do this one. It’s free and it’s the one I enjoyed the most. The main streets of Venice may be packed with tourists but if you let yourself get lost you’ll wind up in quiet gorgeous streets where you’ll go like “Ah, this is why everybody talks about Venice”.

FEMME LUXE FESTIVE HAUL

Having done a collaboration for Femme Luxe in the past, I got approached by them again to make a festive outfit collaboration for the 2019/2020 holiday season! Although this is a collaboration please know that all these opinions are my own, and that I only chose to work with Femme Luxe because I liked partnering with them the last time around.

Make sure you follow my 21buttons account as I post all of my outfits there, these included!

I used the items I got last time quite a lot and gots lot of compliments on them as well so was really looking forward to collaborating with Femme Luxe again. I was originally deterred by the slinky style and appearance of their website but some of their stuff is really good. I just avoid the bodycon dresses as I don’t wear those. Nothing against them, it’s just not my style.

I chose two quite festive outfits and two other more day-to-day items: one beautiful red jumpsuit, a baby doll mini dress, beige high waist trousers and a ruffle white bodysuit.
