VIVAIA: SQUARE-TOE KNOT LOAFERS REVIEW

VIVAIA ELVIA

ABOUT VIVAIA

VIVAIA is a women’s fashion brand that was made popular due to making sustainable shoes from water bottles. Now they also make handbags and apparel. They use recycled materials obtained from used plastic water bottles, turning them into spools of thread to knit the surface material for their shoes, creating a sustainable and classic look that will last for years to come. VIVAIA is promoted by my favourite bloggers / YouTubers so when they approached me for a product review I didn’t hesitate to say yes and it’s now my third collaboration with them. I love their shoes, they are incredibly comfy. This pair I’ve reviewed has become my favourite shoe so far, I wore it everyday during summer (like really wore it) but it’s still going!

VIVAIA is now over 2 yrs old! It started with 2 pairs of shoes and currently offering 80+ different shoes and styles for any type of feet. In the past 2 years they have gotten so much feedback on squeezing feet, rubbing skin, wide feet issues, different foot types, ankle problems and women that love to have 1 shoe for both work and fun.

SOLADO HAUL

Bringing you today a new haul, sponsored by Solado, which claims to have the top online fashion trends for women. The items Solado has, look edgy and cool so I decided to try it out. Hope this is one of many Solado hauls!

My first and favourite item was this button front top and texture pants set. The set is mega comfy, floaty and I just want to live in it. It’s fit for the office, but I used it to go out and it was a hit! The pants are quite long, which to me is a plus, and the colour does not particularly suit my skin but the set is so cute I’m already wearing it over and over again. Perfect for a not so hot day of summer, or spring. This item was a hit!

Second item, which I styled together with the set is this belted leather long coat. It looks super trendy, another hit and an item I glad I chose. Only minor call out is that I recommend sizing up a bit as I ordered a small which is usually my size and it doesn’t close around my hips. I don’t really plan on using it closed so that’s fine, it looks great open anyways. Second call out is the inside, it’s not lined so you can see the finish of the seams and it looks slightly untidy but this was expected for the price. Overall the item looks great and I’ll continue to use it, just make sure you don’t show the inside, and size up.

After 6 months of prototyping and walking 100s of kilometers to try, they launched the Aria 5° in March 2022. And in no-time it became our most popular shoe. The Aria 5° is famous for: no squeezing, no blisters, no rubbing or no more sore feet after walking all day.

FEMME LUXE HAUL X

For this Femme Luxe haul, got a lot of a good set of items as usual! I chose a trendy red blouse, a knitted dress and super cute stone coloured trousers. I hope you are excited as I am about this haul.

My favourite item this time around was the Stone Satin Cuffed Trousers – Mia. They are super elegant because of the slight shine to them, neutral colour, and simple cut which makes them look high quality even if the are quite affordable. These trousers have an elastic waist which makes them super comfy, I sized up too so that it’s nice and easy to pull them through my hips with not much effort, they are a bit loose around the waist but I don’t particularly care. The cuffs mean these are pretty good for spring as they can be worn with sandals in summer and long boots in winter. You can’t wear these with a belt but that’s alright. I love styling these in monochrome with other cream or neutral items and with mules when it’s hot outside and with a nice crop top as in the picture. I always wear blazers as these elevate your outfit.
